Thorsten Rödel began his career in 1998 in pre-sales at Hewlett Packard in Böblingen.
Since 2003 he is active in the field of IT security environment and advises customers throughout Germany on IT security issues.
Vds 3473 certified and Data Protection Officer TÜV certified as well
years of experience make his lectures and training lively.
He has been training IT security officers since 2017.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax
Prof. Dr. Eric Sax, Head of the Institute for Information Processing Technology (ITIV) at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax studied electrical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. He then worked at the Research Center Computer Science (FZI). In this context, he received his doctorate in 1999 in the field of mixed-signal testing for embedded systems.
At the beginning of 2000, he took part in the built up of the hardware-in-the-loop testing for Daimler passenger car development through the subsidiary MBtech and developed appropriate methods and ideas for quality assurance in the automotive industry.
He took over worldwide responsibility for the electrical / electronics in the development of the Daimler bus in 2009, until he worked as head of the Institute for Information Processing Technology at KIT for more than 3 years now and was appointed at the same time director of the FZI.
